Monte Carlo Resort and Casino
Hotel Monte Carlo in Las Vegas in the U.S. state of Nevada is located on Las Vegas Boulevard, the so-called "Strip". It was opened on 21 June 1996 at 12:01 clock. The day before there was a " soft opening " for specially invited " VIPs".
It is just north of New York New York. Right next to the north entrance is a " CVS Pharmacy ". Opposite lies to the south the MGM Grand Hotel, directly across from a Coca Cola Devotionalenhandel over two floors, an M & M devotional, Game and World Showcase.
The hotel extends mainly in the east- west axis, it is therefore almost perpendicular to the Strip. As usual, one reaches the Strip from a casino. At the western end of the casino, the hotel reception as well as a food court with Häagen- Dazs, McDonald's, Sbarro and Starbucks Coffee. The hotel also has several restaurants of different quality and price range. A pub sells six home-brewed beers. The pool area features three swimming pools, including one only for VIP guests and one to ten minutes each provides artificial waves in a ten- minute intervals, as well as a hot tub and lazy river " Lazy River".
As usual in Las Vegas, there is also an on-site "Shopping Mall " ( shopping center ), but for local standards, is rather small with about 20 shops.
In the theater, came 14 years to September 2010 on the magician Lance Burton.
This hotel is MGM Resorts International, which also owns the MGM Grand, Bellagio, The Mirage, New York-New York, City Center and a few other houses.
The hotel itself is 32 stories high and has three wings. The medium is perpendicular to the Strip and goes out to the rear. The two side wings are each in relation to the central wing in an ( estimated ) 110- degree angle. The hotel has a total of about 3002 rooms, including 257 suites. In order to be able to handle the large number of guests, there are only about 30 check- in counters.
There are three different lift areas, each with six wide-body lifts. In an area guests will be checked in for the floors 3-12, 12-23 in the next, and the third 23-32.
The allusion of the hotel on Monte Carlo are at best make out on the facade, in the interior are no outstanding design characteristics determine.
Conflagration
The building was heavily damaged by fire on 25 January 2008.
