Monte-Carlo Television Festival

The Festival de Télévision de Monte- Carlo (French for " Television Festival of Monte Carlo" ) takes place in Monte Carlo every year. It was founded in 1961 by Prince Rainier III. established to support the new art forms of television.

In Competitions festival television productions will be presented from around the world. The Television Award nymph d' Or ( " Golden Nymph " ) is awarded in the form of a gilded statuette each in several sub- divisions of the " TV movie ", " miniseries ", " news ", " tv series " and " International audience participation ".
