Monte Caseros Department

The department Monte Caseros located in the southeast of the province of Corrientes in the north- eastern Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

In the north it borders on the Ostenen Departamento Paso de los Libres, in the northwest and west by the Departamento Curuzú Cuatiá, on the southwest by the province of Entre Ríos and the southeast, separated by the Río Uruguay, from Uruguay.

The capital of the department Monte Caseros is the city of Monte Caseros.
