Monte Colombo

Monte Colombo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3438 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rimini in Emilia -Romagna. The municipality is situated approximately 15 km south of Rimini. The southeastern border Monte Colombo is the Conca.

History

The municipality has been inhabited at the time of the Roman Republic from the 2nd century BC. After several cases of Hungary Monte Colombo was attached from the 9th century. Finally, the towns of the church today as a fief came to the family of Malatesta.
