Monte Groppo Rosso

The Monte Groppo Rosso is a mountain in the Ligurian Apennines, with a height of 1593 meters. It is located in the northern Italian province of Genoa, on the border with the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna region. The Ligurian side of the mountain is part of the Natural Park aveto.

From the summit of Monte Rosso Groppo one has a good view of the surrounding Apennine Mountains, the Val d' aveto and the Po Valley.
