Monte Montgomery

Monte Montgomery ( born August 11, 1966 as Monte Montgomery Patrick in Birmingham, Alabama ) is an American musician, singer and songwriter who is best known for his live performances with his electro-acoustic guitar.

Career

Montgomery began his career at a regional station, where he performed during a live broadcast five titles with his former band members Chris Maresh on bass and Phil Bass on drums.

He's been seen on numerous magazine covers, including the November issue of "Acoustic Guitar" from 2005, the 2005 winter edition of " Frets " and the 2006 December issue of the Italian magazine "Guitar Club" In 2004 he was the " Guitar Player Magazine " as one "Top 50 guitarists of All Time " means. In addition, he led in the late nineties to the list of the ten best unknown guitarist of " Guitar One magazine " America. As the only artist he managed seven years (1998-2004) to win consecutive "Best Acoustic Player" price of the SXSW Festival in Austin.

Dated 24 January 2004 Alvarez Guitars brought out the MMY1 Monte Montgomery Signature Guitar, a model of the Alvarez- Yairi Acoustic - Electric DY62C based guitar on Montes 1987. Because of his " intense " game Monte has already broken down the neck of his guitar DY62C four times during his career - the MMY1 scored then a reinforced neck.
