Montecristo (cigar)

Montecristo is the name of a cigar brand from Cuba.

History

The long filler premium cigar is named after Count from the novel by Alexandre Dumas père and one of the most popular and most expensive cigar brands in the world. She was taken in 1935 by Menéndez y García on the market. All formats are hand- rolled ( totalmente hecho a mano ). A special case is the Montecristo A one due to their size and very high price. The brand is in Cuban state-owned.

Since 1994, Consolidated Cigar an eponymous cigar from the Dominican Republic.

The format of No. 4 was the preferred variety of Che Guevara.
