Montedoro
Montedoro is a city in the province of Caltanissetta in the Italian region Sicily, with 1601 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Montedoro is located 33 km west of Caltanissetta. The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture work. There are cultivated cereals and grapes.
The neighboring municipalities are Bompensiere, Canicattì (AG), Mussomeli, Racalmuto ( AG) and Serradifalco.
History
The town was founded in 1635 by Diego Aragona Tagliavia.
