Montelparo

Montelparo is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 839 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Province of Fermo in the Marche. The community is located about 22 kilometers southwest of Fermo, belongs to the Comunità montana dei Sibillini, bordering the province of Ascoli Piceno. The southern boundary of the municipality forms of Aso.

History

From the 8th century BC necropolis Piceno is obtained.
