Montes Archimedes

The Montes Archimedes are a mountain range on the Earth's moon, east of the Mare Imbrium. It is named after the Greek mathematician Archimedes and extends over 163 km, and its mountains are up to 2 kilometers high. In the center is a particularly rugged section around 70 kilometers. The center is at 25 ° 3 ' N / 4 ° 6' W.
