Monticello is a small town ( City ) in Jones County in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Iowa. It lies about halfway between Dubuque and Cedar Rapids.

Technically, the traffic on the site Maquoketa River, a right tributary of the Mississippi, by the U.S. Highway 151, about 20 kilometers southwest of Cascade, and the airport Monticello Regional Airport is connected.
