Montrose F.C.

The FC Montrose ( officially: Montrose Football Club ) is a Scottish football club based in Montrose. The club plays in the Third Division, the fourth- highest division in Scottish football.

The club 1879. 1929 was founded one was allowed to join the Scottish Football League. At higher levels of success, however it was not until the 1970s, when Montrose was able to reach the 3rd place in the "old" First Division. But later they found the club mostly as "elevator team " again. It rose more times, so as well as 1984/85 in the First Division, but mostly the same again. And so, the club spent most of the time in the lower leagues of Scotland.
