Mooka, Tochigi

Mo'oka (Japanese真 冈 市, -shi ) is a city in Tochigi Prefecture in Japan.

Geography

Mooka is located northeast of Oyama and southeast of Utsunomiya.

History

On 31 March 1954, the villages of Naka (中 村, -mura ), were Ouchi (大 村, -mura内) incorporated and Yamazaki (山前 村, -mura ) in the district of Haga. On 1 October, the municipality received Mo'oka (真 冈 町, machi ) the municipal law.
