Moon Zappa

Moon Unit Zappa ( born September 28, 1967 in New York City, New York) is an American actress and musician.

Life

Zappa was born as the eldest child of businesswoman Gail Zappa and rock musician Frank Zappa. She has three younger siblings, Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva. She married the guitarist and drummer Paul Doucette in June 2002. She has a child, Mathilda Plum Doucette.

Works

Zappa was known in 1982 at the age of 14, when she contributed a text to Frank Zappa's Valley Girl piece. In the song Moon Unit Zappa speaks a monologue in Valspeak, a youth language from the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. In addition to Dancin ' Fool Frank Zappa's Valley Girl was successful play in the United States. The piece appeared on the 1982 album Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch.
