Moore-River-Nationalpark

The Moore River National Park (English Moore River National Park ) is a 175 km ² national park in Western Australia, Australia. It is located 100 km north of Perth and 30 km north-east of Gingin along the Brand Highway.

This park protects a pristine heathland with banksia vegetation. In the National Park there are no visitor facilities. Camping is not allowed.

The name of the national park from the River Moore River, located in the catchment area of ​​the park, which was named after George Fletcher Moore, a prominent European settlers in Western Australia and explorers of the region.
