Moose Jaw Maroons

The Moose Jaw Maroons were a Canadian ice hockey team from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The team played from 1926 to 1928 in the Prairie Hockey League.

History

The franchise was taken in 1926 under the name Moose Jaw Warriors as a founding member in the Prairie Hockey League. There they occupied in its premiere season fourth place in the regular season with a total of five participants. For the 1927/28 season the team changed its name to Moose Jaw Maroons and took second place in a league in which only played three teams. After the Prairie Hockey League was then dissolved, put the Moose Jaw Maroons a game operation.
