Moqueca
Moqueca is one of the national dishes of Brazil and is part of the cuisine of Brazil. The most common variant is the " moqueca Baiana ", a fish stew of fish fillets, coconut milk, palm oil ( azeite de dendê ) and tomatoes. Also known is the moqueca Capixaba in which the palm oil replaced with olive oil and annatto is added ( in Brazil colorau or Colorífico ) for coloring.
This dish is a typical example of the blending of African serving local cuisine.
