Mora County is a county located in the northwest of the state of New Mexico in the United States. The County has 4,881 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Mora.

Geography

The county has an area of ​​5008 square kilometers; which includes 6 square kilometers of water. The Truchas Peak with 3993 m the highest mountain in the county. The county borders in New Mexico in a clockwise direction to the counties: Colfax County, Harding County, San Miguel County, Santa Fe County, Rio Arriba County and Taos County.
