Moraas

Moraas is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Hagenow country with headquarters in the city Hagenow.

Geography

History

The first written mention of the town dates from 1227th This is the place mentioned in a deed of the Counts of Schwerin at the Commandery Kraak. Former place names were Mratzu ( Slavic for darkness ), Moraz ( 1227 ), Moratz ( e) ( 1397 ), Morats ( 1500), Moratze (1520 ). From the form of settlement was the site of a Rundling.
