Mordehai Milgrom

Mordehai Milgrom (* 1946 in Iaşi, Romania) is an Israeli physicist and professor at the Department of Condensed Matter at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot.

His current research interests are on the one hand the dynamics of galaxies in connection with the problem of dark matter and modified Newtonian dynamics on the other hand, in short MOON. It is also often referred to as Milgrom theory and was proposed in 1983.
