Moreno Costanzo

Moreno Costanzo ( born February 20, 1988 in Wil SG ) is a Swiss football player. He is a Switzerland - Italian dual citizens.

Career

Moreno Costanzo began his career at FC Kirchberg SG. In April 1998 he moved to FC St. Gallen, where he played in all junior categories up to the U21. At the same time, he also belonged to all the junior national teams, where he was regularly employed. From September to December 2006, he was loaned to FC Wil 1900 in the Challenge League. In the 2007 /08 season, he completed seven games in the Axpo Super League for St. Gallen. At season's end, he went with the club from the Challenge League. There Costanzo developed into a regular player in the midfield and was mainly due to its offensive strength, its overview, the accuracy of his passes and his free kick goals on. He scored 14 goals in 27 games. For the 2009/10 season with St. Gallen, he managed to direct return to the top flight. In the season 2010/11 he moved to league rivals BSC Young Boys, where he signed for 4 years.

On 11 August 2010 he made his debut in the Swiss national team. In the game against Austria, he came on in the 71st minute and scored with his first touch in the dress of the senior team the winning goal.
