Moritz Jursitzky

Moritz Jursitzky (born 27 January 1861 in Engelberg, † August 28, 1936 in Vienna ) was an old Austrian folk writer.

Life

Moritz Jursitzky came from a working class family Engelberg, his father was a master weaver. He was originally self- workers, but could live later of his works, among other things because it was funded by the German Schiller Foundation in 1909. In 1936 he died in Vienna.
