Moritz Oeler

Moritz Oiler (born 21 October 1985 in Neustadt on the Wine Route ) is a German water polo player. Oiler was in the Bundesliga season 2007/2008 with 81 -goal top scorer and was voted player of the year for water.

Oiler began his career with the swimming club Neustadt. The 1.88 m high scorer was 2006 German Champion with Cannstatt. Following the withdrawal of Cannstatt from the Bundesliga oiler joined the German record champions water Spandau 04, with whom he won the league and cup double in 2007 and 2008.

Oiler was with the German national team eighth at the Water Polo World Cup 2007 and finished at the 2008 European Championship in sixth place. He played 160 matches so far. (As of January 26, 2011 - Source: The Rhine Palatinate )
