Morl is a town in the municipality Petersberg in the Saale district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ). It consists of the districts alums, Beidersee, Morl and Möderau.

Until the formation of the unified community Petersberg on 1 January 2010 Morl was an independent municipality in the administrative community Götschetal - Petersberg with the associated hamlets Beidersee and Möderau and the living space alums. Last Mayor Morls was Ilona Thiemert.

Geography

Morl is located north of Halle ( Saale) and is located about two kilometers from the Saale.
