Morningstar Inc. is listed on the NASDAQ financial information and analysis company. It was founded in 1984 by Joe Mansueto in Chicago. Also wealth planning and investment advisory services are offered through subsidiaries. Since 10 June 2011, acquired in 2010 by Morningstar Inc. rating agency Real Point LLC operates under the name Morningstar Credit Ratings.
