Morocco–Congo Treaty

With the so-called Congo - Morocco Agreement, the German Empire recognized the French domination of Morocco. The signing of the Morocco - Congo Treaty on 4 November 1911 in Berlin ended the Second Moroccan Crisis. In return, France joined parts of the French Congo and French Equatorial Africa, the so-called Neukamerun, from the German Reich. A small area in the north- eastern Cameroon, also called duckbill, went to France. The area of the former Altkamerun was considerably expanded.
