Morombe
Province
Morombe is a city in the northwest of the region Atsimo - Andrefana in Madagascar. It lies on the coast of the channel of Mozambique and has an airfield east of the village.

The area of Morombe is known for the cultivation of chickpeas.
Nature
The National Park Kirindy Mitea is located north of Morombe. Approx. 80 km from Morombe is also the Forest of Ampanonga with hundreds of baobabs. From the largest specimens (Adansonia grandidieri ) some can reach a height of up to 40 meters.
Religion
The city is the seat of the diocese Morombe.
