Morondo

Region

Morondo is a municipality ( commune) in the Ivory Coast ( Côte d' Ivoire), belonging to the region Worodougou and the Département de Séguéla.

A dirt road connects the town with Boundiali in the north and Kani in the south, as well as branches in Morondo a slope to the north- west. To the east of the town flows the river Marahoué that changes here its flow direction from north - south to northwest-southeast, which is due to the different permeability of the crystalline basement. In 2006 Morondo got an ambulance.

Mayor is the non-party Adama Koné (as of 2001). Born in Morondo Yacouba Diarassouba represents the constituency in the Ivorian parliament.
