Morris Almond

Morris Almond (born 2 February 1985 in Dalton ) is an American professional basketball player. His preferred position is that of the Shooting Guards.

Career

Morris Almond started his college career at Rice University in the Rice Owls. In the 2006/07 season he scored an average of 26.4 points and was named the best player in the Conference USA. In the 2007 NBA Draft, he was selected as the 25th pick of the first round by the Utah Jazz. During his two seasons with the Jazz, he brought it but only on 34 missions, mostly he played for the Utah Flash in the NBA D -League, where he died on January 30, 2008 at 102:87 victory of his team against the Bakersfield Jam 53 points aufstellte the D -League points record. In September 2009, he undertook the Orlando Magic, but after only four games Preaseason he left this direction D -League, where he was first active in the Springfield Armor and from 15 February 2010 for the Maine Red Claws in the season 2009/10.

In April 2010, he signed a contract running until 2012 when the Spanish first division club Real Madrid, however, changed in the summer of the same year to Italy to Victoria Libertas Pesaro. After he had been briefly in Ukraine for the Tscherkassky Mawpi active, Almond joined in early 2012 back to the NBA D -League Maine Red Claws to. He received in 2012 a contract with the Washington Wizards, where he graduated from four matches and scored 3.5 points per game.

After the season he moved to Serbia for KK Crvena Zvezda, but stayed only briefly before he returned to the D- League. Since 2013 he is with the Los Angeles D- Fenders under contract.
