Morristown is a town in Morris County, New Jersey in the United States.

General

According to the 2000 United States Census, the population was 18,544 inhabitants in 2000. For 2004, the estimate is 18,842 residents. Morristown was founded in 1865 and is surrounded by the Morris Township. Morristown is home to the nationally significant Morristown Memorial Hospital. Next to it is in Morristown (next to Teterboro ) one of the two big regional airports of New Jersey.

Educational institutions

The Morris School District is responsible for K -12 ( kindergarten to 12.Klasse/High School ) Schools in Morristown and Morris Township.

In the school district, there are 3 primary schools ( K-2 ), three intermediate schools (3-5 ), a Multiage School ( k- 5), a Middle School ( 6-8), as well as the Morristown High School.
