Morten Bjerre

Morten Bjerre ( May 22nd, 1972 in Copenhagen) is a former Danish handball player who played for the Danish first division club Viborg HK in the right rear area and worked as an assistant coach.

Morten Bjerre started at Hvidovre with the handball matches. About the intermediate station Ajax København reached the left-hander in 1996 to the German Bundesliga club VfL SG / BHW Hameln. After just one season he moved to SG Flensburg -Handewitt. After two runner-up and winning the Euro -City Cup 1999, he moved in 2000 to Kiel, with whom he won the 2002 German Cup and the EHF Cup.

After playing in the season 2003/ 04 for HSV Hamburg, he moved to Viborg HK. With Viborg he was 2007 Danish runners-up. From 2009 he also worked as an assistant coach at Viborg. In May 2011, he ended his career and left Viborg. Subsequently, Bjerre assistant coach at Skjern Håndbold. Since the summer of 2012, he is an assistant coach at Aalborg Håndbold, with whom he won the 2013 Danish championship. At the end of the season 2013/14 he will end his tenure at Aalborg Håndbold.

Morten Bjerre has 185 caps for the Danish men's handball team denied, in which he scored 432 hits. With Denmark, he was third at the European Handball Championship 2004.
