Morten Wieghorst

Morten Wieghorst ( born February 25, 1971 in Glostrup, Denmark ) is a former Danish football player (midfielder ), currently coach of FC Nordsjælland in the Danish SAS League.

Career

Wieghorst began his career in 1989 at Lyngby BK, with whom he won the 1990 National Cup and 1992 Danish Champion. Then he moved abroad to Scotland for Dundee FC. After three years he moved on to 35maligen champion Celtic Glasgow, where he, however, due to various injuries played in the first two seasons hardly. His first season he played through until 1997/98, as Celtic after nine years of dry spell master was first.

Denmark U -21 ( from 2011)

July 1, 2011 Wieghorst is the new coach of the Danish U -21 national team. He replaced Keld Bordinggaard, which withdraws from the U -21 Football Championship 2011.
