Moscow House of Photography

History

The Moscow House of Photography (Russian Московский дом фотографии ) is a Russian museum, which houses a large collection of historical and contemporary photographic art works, exhibitions, and international levels, as well as festivals all organized around photography. The museum, founded in 1996 was renamed the Multimedia Art Musej 2003.

Collection

The collection includes masterpieces of Russian art photography, including works by Alexander Rodchenko, Alexander Grinberg (1885-1979), Max Penson (1893-1959) and Dmitri Baltermants (1912-1990) and Yuri jeremin and Anatoly Yegorov.

The Moscow House of Photography also actively supports modern Russian photographers like Igor Mukhin, and other artists.
