Moses Hart (1675–1756)

Moses Hart ( Hebrew משה הרט; * 1675 in Breslau, † 1756 in London ) was an English businessman and founder of the Duke 's Place Synagogue ( Great Synagogue of London). He was the brother of Rabbi Aaron Hart, the Chief Rabbi of the Ashkenazi Jews in England. He is regarded as the leader of his early Ashkenazic Jewry of London.
