Moses Isegawa

Moses Isegawa ( born August 10, 1963 in Kawempe, Uganda ) is a Ugandan writer who was known by his published in 1990 in the Netherlands autobiographical debut novel Abyssinian Chronicles.

Isegawa attended a Catholic seminary and was then four years as a history teacher. From 1990 to 2006 he lived in Amsterdam. In 2006 he decided to return to Uganda. In his novel The Snake Pit, he focuses on the recent political situation in Uganda.
