Moshe Wertman

Moshe Wertman (Hebrew משה ורטמן; born February 20, 1924 in Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland; † 2 October 2011) was an Israeli politician.

Life

Wertman was 1936-1939 Hashomer Hatzair member of. In addition, he was a member of the Dror youth movement and was a member of Poale Zion. In 1947 he emigrated to the British Mandate of Palestine, where he became active in the Haganah. In 1948, he joined Mapai. From 1949 to 1955 he worked for trade unions in the Haifa Workers Council, was then followed from 1955 to 1959 director of the Branches Department of Haifa Workers Council from 1959 to 1969 and worked in Sekretäriat the Haifa Workers Council. In addition to these activities, he was in Mapai, and later in Maarach active. In January 1966, he moved according to the Knesset for Moshe Carmel. In the following two Knesset Wertman was able to defend his position, respectively, and was thus up to the June 13, 1977 MP.

Wertman was married and had three children.
