Template: Infobox city in Portugal / Maintenance / Web page is blank Mosteiros is a Freguesia (municipality ) in the district of Ponta Delgada in the extreme northwest of the Azores island of São Miguel. The former fishing village is situated on the seafront. Its name is attributed to the appearance of the largest in the upstream rock islands dos Ilheus Mosteiros similar to that of a church. About the Coastal Road ER 1-1 Mosteiros with the island's capital, Ponta Delgada and in the opposite direction with Ribeira Grande is connected. The closest villages are João Bom in the East, Sete Cidades in the southeast and várzea in the southwest.

The main industry is agriculture, with cattle breeding the primary importance. Play a lesser role, fishing and tourism.

Mosteiros has a dark sand beach and natural swimming pools, but they are often exposed to strong surf of the Atlantic Ocean.
