Mostostal

Mostostal is a Polish steel construction company. Mostostal operates in the field of industrial construction ( chemical plants, transmission towers, bridges, Metal Sheds, gratings, etc.) and one of the largest companies in the industry in Poland.

The company was founded in 1945 in Cracow. In 2001, the total turnover of the Group amounted to approximately PLN 1,227 million (equivalent to approximately EUR 400 million), of which about 193 million PLN (equivalent to approximately EUR 50 million) in foreign business. Nearly 60 % of foreign sales was achieved in Germany, where the company has an establishment ( in Lüdenscheid ).

The Mostostal also built at the beginning of the 1970s in 1991 collapsed transmission tower in Warsaw radio Konstantynów, which in 2010 was the highest structure in the world until the opening of the Burj Khalifa. With its collapse, a crane truck of the company was destroyed.
