Motherland Party (Azerbaijan)

The Motherland Party ( Azerbaijani Ana Vətən Partiyası ) is an Azerbaijani political party that was founded in 1990.

Their ideology is the Nationalkonservativismus and its official ideology is: Azad, Qüdrətli, Demokratik, Bötöv Azərbaycan to German Free, Strong, Democratic, Unified Azerbaijan.

Its members include mainly Azerbaijanis who come from Armenia. Party leaders Fəzail Ağamalı is a former Deputy Minister for Social Protection. His deputy is Zahid Oruc.

During the parliamentary elections of 5 November 2000 and January 7, 2001, the party won 1 out of 125 seats in the National Assembly of Azerbaijan. In the elections of 6 November 2005, the party received a total of 2, this time by 125 deputies seats together.
