Motiti Iceland is an island in the Bay of Plenty on the North Island of New Zealand. It is located 21 km north-east of Tauranga and 9.4 km north-east of Papamoa.

The relatively flat island is 10 km ². The island was inhabited in the census of 1961 of 61 inhabitants, of which 42 Maori and 19 Europeans. Main industry is agriculture.

The island was discovered on November 2, 1769 by James Cook became the first Europeans.
