Motovun Film Festival

The Motovun Film Festival is an international film festival in the Croatian town of Motovun.

The little festival that is held exclusively in open-air cinemas, also takes place in the summer months for a period of five days. The first festival in 1999 coincided with a solar eclipse.

Since 2000, the Propeller of Motovun is awarded the top prize of an international competition and the short film prize Motovun online. The international film critics association FIPRESCI award since 2001 in Motovun a movie with the FIPRESCI Prize. Since 2003, the award From A to A to the best film from the region (From Albania to Austria ).

The Motovun Film School offers since 2003, following on the film festival seminars for film students.
