Moudon District

The District de Moudon (German District Moudon ) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Capital was Moudon. The District was divided into the Cercle (German circles) Saint- Cierges, Moudon and Lucens. In 1960 the municipality Bercher to the district Echallens.

The District consisted of 32 municipalities, was 119.61 km ² and counted 12'532 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
