Mouila

Province

Mouila is the capital of the province Ngounié in southern Gabon. With approximately 28,000 inhabitants ( 2008 calculation ) it is also the sixth largest city in the country. Mouila lies on the River Ngounié. The city is the seat of the Diocese of Mouila and location of the 2007 consecrated Cathédrale Saint -Jean- l'Apôtre. Through the village runs a major highway.
