Mount Carleton

Mount Carleton is 820 meters, the highest elevation in the maritime provinces of Canada. The mountain was after Thomas Carleton, the first deputy governor of the British colony of New Brunswick, named.

The mountain is located in the 17,000 -acre Mount Carleton Provincial Park. More than 60 kilometers of trails and hiking trails lead through pristine wilderness landscape of mountains, valleys and rivers.
