The Mount Carse is a mountain with several peaks, the highest 2,330 meters and measures 3.2 kilometers north in the southern part of the Salvesen Range is the end of the Drygalski Fjord in South Georgia. He was explored from 1951 to 1957 as part of the South Georgia Survey and named after Verner Duncan Carse, the head of four expeditions during this period. The first ascent was made on January 21, 1990 by Brian Davison and Stephen Venables on the northwest ridge.
