Top of Dulang - dulang

The Dulang - dulang is located in the province of Bukidnon. It is the highest mountain in the Kita Glad Mountains and the second highest mountain in the Philippines. The mountain is a popular destination for climbers, as it is located in the Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park, near the Mount Kalatungan Range Natural Park.

Since the Dulang - dulang located in Talaandig Ancestral Territory in the community Lantapan the consent of the tribal elders of the tribe Talaandig is needed to climb it. The mountain is regarded as sacred place of the Talaandig and Kitanglad Mountains serves them as a burial site. It is obligatisch to perform a ritual to appease the spirits of the ancestors before an ascent can begin.

There are two Aufsteigsrouten, on the Regluar -climb route of direct ascent is possible and takes about 2 days. The second route passes through the 2,899 meter-high Kitanglad, you need to be about 3 days for the ascent and descent. On both routes there is a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, in good weather conditions up to Mount Apo in the southeast and to the Ragang in the West.
