The Mount Gimie is with 950 meters the highest mountain on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. The mountain is of volcanic origin and is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. To the west of Mount Gimie are the Pitons, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004.
