Mount Hamilton

Mount Hamilton is a mountain in the U.S. state of California and part of the Diablo Range. With an altitude of 1,327 meters it is the highest point in the Santa Clara County and the entire San Francisco Bay Area.

The mountain was named after the Presbyterian priest Laurentine Hamilton.

On the summit of Mount Hamilton is the Lick Observatory and other facilities for visitors.
