The Mount Hubbard is a 4557 m high mountain of Elias chain on the border of Alaska and the Canadian Yukon Territory, 32 km north-east of Disenchantment Bay, a bay of Yakutat Bay. The U.S. part is in the Wrangell-St Elias National Park, the Canadian in Kluane National Park.

Was named the mountain in 1890 by the geologist Israel Russell from the United States Geological Survey to Gardiner Greene Hubbard, the first chairman of the National Geographic Society, the Russells had financed the expedition.

The Mount Hubbard is the highest peak of the massif, which is also the Mount Alverstone, and Mount Kennedy includes. The Hubbard Glacier separates Mount Hubbard Mount Vancouver on the west. The Lowell Glacier is located on the eastern flank. The Mount Hubbard is the eighth highest mountain in Alaska and the United States and the zwölfthöchste Canada.

The western flank of Mount Hubbard rises 2286 m above the 3 km away Alverstone Glacier. The summit towers above the 11 km distant Hubbard Glacier at 3353 m. Despite the steep slopes on the west side, the east side of the mountain provides a lightweight, but long climb to the summit.
