Mount Moroto

Mount Moroto from the west

Mount Moroto is an inactive volcano in Moroto district in Uganda near the border with Kenya. It lies north of Mount Elgon, it is like this for the Rift Valley. Mountain limestone is mined.

Particularly striking is the bird life of its forests.
